I have downloaded ISO files of 64 and 32 bit Windows 10 Technical Preview. I Wish to install it on my Segate External Hard disk but it gives following Error message.
Cannot find bootable image. (0x00000C401F0000)
I have also tried installing enterprise edition to Windows 10. It did not work either, as I was getting the same error message.
There is no problem with quality of download or system requirement as I can install Windows 8.1 pro on the same external hard drive.
Please help me, if you think that I am missing something.

same here - would be great, if you could fix it
I also want to install windows 10 into my external hdd and I have just the same error...
can't install Windows 10 Preview-- Is there a fix???

We have add support for Windows 10 Technical Preview, please try the latest version.

Edit: The installer goes 100% and says me to reboot and configure the BIOS. I did it, so i choose to boot from USB and the windows boot screen appears, but it gets stuck there... (I tried using Windows 7 + WinToUsb in this computer and boots and works perfectly)
The screen where I get stuck is exactly like this:

I've downloaded the latest version and I have the same issue, stuck on loading screen with windows logo. Any advice would be much appreciated

Do you use the same USB device? Is USB flash drive or USB hard disk drive? We recommend you using a USB hard disk to install windows.
Same problem here. First cold boot seemed to work (preparing devices etc...), then it rebooted and now im stuck with endless boot with wind 10 preview on a stick.
I have a problem with the technical preview of windows 10. I use a usb 3.0 with 128 GB, more tah sufficient, i have the x32 bits version of windows 10 technical preview. I can create the usb, but when i restart the computer, i get stuck on the windows loading page for hours. I can't advance from that point. I need help please
