Experience or tips for running Windows 11 To Go on NVMe enclosure using Hasleo WinToU
#1
I’m planning to set up a portable Windows 11 environment using Hasleo WinToUSB and would like to hear your experience before I finalize the hardware.
My plan: A few questions I’m hoping someone here can help with:
  1. Is Windows 11 To Go stable on NVMe enclosures with the RTL9210 controller? Any throttling or compatibility issues?
  2. Does WinToUSB currently handle Windows 11 updates smoothly on external NVMe drives?
  3. For long-term use, is there any recommended configuration (UEFI settings, power options, drivers) to improve speed or reduce wear on the SSD?
  4. If you’ve tested multiple enclosures, which one offers the best thermal performance?
Any suggestions or experience sharing would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Big Grin
