Hello,

When trying to set up a File Backup, and choosing a network (SMB) backup location (QNAP NAS), I am receiving the following Network certificates dialog box error when providing my NAS username/PW:

Failed to run system API.  0x00B4001500000005

Location format I'm providing is:  \\192.168.x.x\share_name

I have no issues with creating a Windows 11 share via file explorer (mapped drive).

Any help would be much appreciated!

We have analyzed the error code, Windows returned the error code 0x5 (Access is denied.) when Hasleo Backup Suite tried to connect to the network resource, which usually means that the specified user does not have the permission to access the network resource.
