Unexpected backup
#1
I have System and File backups scheduled at different times. System is at 04:00, File is at 18:00 and both have have been running smoothly since I created the tasks about a week ago.

This morning the scheduled System backup ran a Full backup as expected, from 04:00 to 04:55:06. That included the expected merging of previous backups.
At  04:55:09, just 3 seconds after the notified end of the System backup, Hasleo initiated an Incremental File backup.

File backups have been running normally before this, and this was the only occurrence outside the scheduled time of 18:00.
Yesterday's scheduled File backup ran as normal and completed.

Hi and welcome to the Hasleo forums!

I think the exact same thing happened to user @Tungsten here:
https://www.easyuefi.com/forums/thread-5162.html

This is most likely related to the time shift we had last night. HBS might misinterpret the last runtime and think the last run was skipped.
That causes a new backup to run instantly if you have ticked the option "Run missed schedule at the next system startup".

@gsgordon42,

Welcome to the Hasleo Backup Forum.  There is another report of scheduling issues: https://www.easyuefi.com/forums/thread-5162.html.  That apparently had to do with the time change in some locations.  I am not sure if it applies in your case ... ?

The best thing to do would be to go to the Home page GUI, and click on the down arrow in a small blue box on the top line, and select "Save log file."  Please attach it so that the Hasleo Development Team can analyze what is happening.  Just attach the zipped log file to your next post.

It is nighttime in China right now, so you will have to wait until they are back at work.  The Forum Administrator, @admin, is here every day, weekends included.

I am glad to hear that otherwise the Hasleo Backup Suite been meeting your expectations.  That is great news.

Have a great day, and welcome again.

Regards,
Phil

@gsgordon42,

It appears my colleague, @al3x, and I were both posting at the same time.   I did not see his post until I had posted my reply.

Have a great day.

Yes, thanks both. I had a look at the other thread.

My amateur eye didn't spot anything in the logs. I've attached them here.

@gsgordon42,

Thank you for creating and attaching the log files.  They will help diagnose your issues.  I have no expertise in analyzing Hasleo Backup Suite log files, so you will probably have to wait until @admin shows up in about nine  (9) hours.  Thank you for your patience. 👍

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil
