Built a Windows 11 pro-based Dell Latitude 5290 2-in 1 laptop/tablet (8th gen i7), UEFI, non-Secure BOOT. When finished, took a System Backup, did a restart, made a detectable change, then invoked a non-BOOTmenu recovery of the System Backup in DELTA RESTORE mode. During the external process, progress bar went the distance but ended in the following error msg...
The restore operation failed to run system API (0x00970015C0000034). The operation was not successful.
Was running v4.2 Beta (Build Jan 5 2024) and built an Emergency Disk ISO using the EasyUEFI off-line Win10/Win11 OPE.
When I BOOTed back into the System following the error, the detectable changes mentioned above had all been corrected as if the DELTA RESTORE had been successful.

The last step I take when a software seems to satisfy all my requirements is to vet the company that offers the software
I have not been able to clearly find who owns and where the company is located.
Their Hasleo.com domain is registered in the US but their EasyUEFI.com is registered in China.
So, - applications are not signed, and yes I know free software, but there are free solutions for signing
- can't clearly identify owner and country of origin
Can you shed some light on who owns the software and where is the company located ?
Thanks

Hello, for some reason I often get "I'm sorry, but you are banned. You may not post, read threads, or access the forum. Please contact your forum administrator should you have any questions." But after just a minute or so I can access the forum. I did not do anything to cause this. I simply write a message. After 10 minutes of writing I want to post it, but then I get "you are banned". It is not a problem for me because I know it will work soon, but other users could be confused.

Some issues and ideas: Time, Post Command, User Message, Services

Hello,
1. Time: In the main windows, it says 07:45:34 instead of 19:45:34
2. Post Command:
I added some (amateurish) vbs/bat stuff that was supposed to show a message with nircmd after end of backup. For some reason the backup never ended and was stuff at 99%. I think you should have a timeout to prevent this situation. I had to force close the application.
Moreover, after force closing Hasleo, the service was also still stuck and when rebooting it would prevent a reboot (had to force reboot the computer!).
3. Perhaps it would be nice to have the option to show a custom user note at end of backup if it is successful "Backup successful." AND usernote: "Please xyz". For example "please remove backup drive from computer for sercurity reasons" -- just an idea.
4. I have another VSS using application. This application uses a service to trigger the backups. The service can be paused / started. It is important to pause/stop the service BEFORE hasleo backup, and to START the service again AFTER hasleo backup because it does vss backup every 15 minutes. changing the service status also requires admin rights. I was not able (as a amateur user) to do this with the pre/post command even though this seems to me like an important thing to be able to do. Perhaps you want to make it easier for users to start/stop services?

Problem with multiple BackupMainUI.exe instances

Hello,
for some reason, I suddenly had 2 (!) Hasleo backup interfaces running. I don't know how it happened. But I THINK I might have double-clicked in startmenu onto Hasleo and it might have started 2 instances at the same time! There were 2 BackupMainUI.exe running that had almost the exact E/A values. (The E/A values, by the way, were constantly increasing, I was wondering what Hasleo was doing?)
I do not know if this is a Windows or Hasleo problem that it is possible to start two interfaces even though this is not intended by the user and also not by the programmers.

Unable to create WinPE.iso

Hi. I’m a newbie and with a Windows 10 22H2 PC, I made some backups with Hasleo v4.0.
Today I realized that, after upgrading to v4.0, WinPE.iso was not present in the Hasleo ‘bin’ folder.
I then launched the emergency disk creation procedure. After about 1 minute, the procedure stops at 63% and there it stays forever (the background Hasleo Backup Suite Service Application process is shown as "suspended"); I cannot close the application and the only way I can break the situation is to reboot the PC.
I tried several times with the same result.
Looking at the contents of disk C: I noticed that a “WinPETem” folder had been created with a new folder inside named
55ce1990-2ca1-4c0e-af66-6c455aad8d84 with subfolders:
C:\WinPETem\55ce1990-2ca1-4c0e-af66-6c455aad8d84\
ISO\boot
ISO\efi
ISO\source
mount\Program Files
mount\ProgramData
mount\sources
mount\Users
mount\Windows
I also noticed that each time I tried to create the emergency disk, a subfolder similar to the one described had been created in C:\WinPETem folder which has reached 16 GB.
I am Administrator with full control over disc C: and I tried to delete C:\WinPETem. But the deletion is not allowed (access denied).
For info I have a second photocopy PC where the iso creation worked correctly and where no C:\WinPETem was created.
I tried to re-install v4.0 on itself (without uninstalling it first) without success.
I don't know what to do anymore and especially I don't know how to get rid of the C:\WinPETem folder which has reached 16 GB !...
Any advice?
Thank you very much
P.S. - I managed with difficulty to delete the C:\WinPETem folder by booting with Linux, but now I am afraid to run the emergency disk creation procedure again.
