Trouble installing WIndows 10 (onto SD card) |

Hi,
I am trying to install Windows 10 Technical Preview onto an SD Card. (because of portability and low Harddrive Capacity) on my MacBook Air. Before you tell me it won't work here is why I think it should:
-I can install the same Windows 10 build onto an external USB drive and there is works fine. The SD slot uses a USB driver, so there shouldn't be much of a difference.
-The internal SD slot in the MacBook Air can boot a Mac System.
-Also, it does start up to a certain point from the SD card
Ok, so here my problem. After installing Windows 10 to my SD card (no problems), I can start it up, but pretty much it seems to get stuck on the screen with the Windows logo (for at least 6 hours) and the twirling animation underneath. Anyone know anything helpful?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble getting windows 7 up and running.
I'm trying to run it off a USB 3 HDD (not flash). I installed it just like is said in the guide but on boot Windows 7 I can't even get to set up because it just goes BSOD on me. I have installed Windows 8 on another machine using the same way. It gave me some problems the first few times but eventually it worked. I don't have a license for Windows 8 and gerting used to the changes was a bit much for me, so wasn't willing to deal with the wallet damage.
I'm using the 64 bit professionalversion I downloaded from here:
http://www.techverse.net/download-window...l-servers/
I'm using a brand new MacBook Air 13, which is
Core i5 2.?ghz
4GB RAM
Intel HD graphics
USB3 HDD
Any help much appreciated!

Hi all,
I am using WintoUSB to generate a bootable USB stick. I have tried both with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. My USb drive is an Integral nano 64GB. WintoUSB writes the files correctly to the USB stick but I cannot load windows. I formatted the USB stick using MBR and I am using the version2.0 BETA and I am doing the install from the iso file
If I boot in a USB3.0 connector Windows starts loading and sometime after stops with the Error "INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE" and reboots
if I boot in a USB2.0 connector the boot process gets stuck in the Windows screen (I left it for 20 minutes and still it didnt boot)
I Also tried to modify the BOOTDRIVERFLAGS in the registry to load USB drivers during startup but it didnt work.
Any help would be appreciated,
jozamm

Hello
My computer is broken, it does not read anymore internal disks, but it works fine with USB HDD.
I got the old internal disk with Windows 7 e put in in an external usb box, now I would like to recover my old Windows 7 from it.
Is it possible to clone my ex-internal system with win7 to another USB disk, or to modify it in order to work from a usb?
Maybe the feature "Clone current Windows OS" of the 2.0 beta can be modified in order to clone also off line systems...
Thank you.
Nicola

Successfully installed Win 7 to USB and booted up fine.
Problem is that Windows update will not work and I can't update with the latest fixes, etc. Have tried to install the Windows Install program from the website but that install fails as well.
Can install other software (i.e. downloaded and installed both IE 11 and COMODO free antivirus programs) but can not do Windows Updates, neither on the MS website or using Control Panel.
Problem SEEMS to be related to access. Error messages talk about being unable to update or install files in various folders.
Here are the specifics:
Hardware: Acer Aspire laptop
OS: Win 7 Professional 64 bit
USB: MicroCenter 3.0 USB 32 gig stick
Installing as Administrator
Added created system user into the Administrator Group
Changed the permissions on the Windows directory and subdirectories to full control for admin user.
If anyone has experienced this (and more important, found the solution!) would love to hear from you.

'Browse' option for choosing ISO is Not Responding ? |

Hi Sir,
I like 'WintoUSB' too much. But I don't love it because it's 'Browse' option is very Poor. 'WintoUSB' always Not Responding when I try to 'Browe' folders directories in order to choose ISO Image. 'Browse' dialog box of 'WintoUSB' is very Bad compare to 'WinNTSetup'. Why not you add Windows Native Browse Dialog Box in order to choose ISO. 'WinNTSetup' browse option is very good. It will be very useful if you also use native windows browse option. Due to this old browse option 'WintoUSB' always become Not Responding.
So please try to improve it's 'Browse' option ASAP.....
Thanks in Advance.....

Greetings!
I have used this product in the past with no issues including last week but now when I try to perform a "physical to usb" it won't see my 64GB sandisk drive even though it shows up in windows explorer and the disk management console in windows 8. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the stable and beta versions and I've also tried formatting the stick in different ways. (FAT32, NTFS) - is there anything I can look for as to why it won't show up in WinToUSB while trying to move the OS to a USB drive? It worked just last week on this same exact drive.
Thanks!!
