That's wasted space. And not only is it very small, it is also very quick - and much more convenient all around than others. RE: Expired Trial But Not Really Expired - n8chavez - 11-13-2025 Let me rephrase. The fact that HBS and every other imaging application required their own PE is what I'm referring to when I say wasted space. Why? The foundations are all the same. Why the repetition. Terabyte's Image for Windows offers a plugin which can be used on any PE, thus eliminating the need for multiple PE, which, now see if you can follow me now....saves space. RE: Expired Trial But Not Really Expired - al3x - 11-13-2025 Personally I would just use a USB stick with Ventoy. It doesn’t get any easier than this, just put HBS WinPE together with your other ISOs on there and you’re ready to go. RE: Expired Trial But Not Really Expired - n8chavez - 11-13-2025 But I'm using uefi partitions on my local drive, pointing to a bcd. RE: Expired Trial But Not Really Expired - al3x - 11-13-2025 You can still make it work with your own WinPE then if you import the registry path I wrote to your own WinPE. This can be done with DISM by mounting/editing the WIM file of your WinPE and importing the registry path. RE: Expired Trial But Not Really Expired - n8chavez - 11-13-2025 Yeah. That's what I'll end up doing. I just wish HBS made it easier, perhaps with a portable version. |
