Screen capture feature in the WinPE rescue environment.
This would be very helpful when interacting with the Hasleo support team to show the steps taken to reproduce a problem so they could diagnose it better.

You're absolutely right. Without relevant experience, I'm not sure if we can write a simple screen capture program.

This is easy to do yourself. Place a portable screenshot tool that works in WinPE on a separate folder on a USB flash drive and run it when necessary (not all screenshot tools can work this way!).

Concerned that there may be copyright issues.

Do you have any examples of programs that do work in WinPE ?
I tried Sysinternals ZoomIt, which just flashed up the splash screen and then closed.

I agree with you, this is a difficult question for developers, but a solution can be found for home users.
IrfanView v4.40+ x64, unzip it in 7-Zip and use it as a portable application. After deleting unnecessary files, it takes up 4 lines in Explorer. It takes all kinds of screenshots.

I just did some research and found that writing a simple screenshot tool isn't difficult.

I couldn't find a copy of Irfanview 4.40 to dowwnload, so I tried the latest 4.72.
It works inside the Hasleo rescue disk. I opened a Cmd prompt in Hasleo tools, navigated to the extracted Irfanview folder and launched the .exe file.
I was able to capture the Hasleo window and save it to a file. It's a bit of a faff, but at least there's a solution should the need arise, until such time as the Hasleo developers can integrate a solution natively.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Wow, thanks for going the extra effort and figuring that out! We're glad you found a way to make it work, even if it's a bit of a troublesome. Really appreciate you sharing your discovery!

Use an older version, such as ZoomIt v4.52, it works.
