Red stop sign symbol - Lxtina - 10-19-2021

Hello this may seem like a dumb question but what is the little red stop sign symbol with the - in the middle?
Does that mean its a corrupted file? And if so if restored it would still be corrupted yes?

Thank you in advance for the response

This icon means that the file has been lost or deleted. If the content of the file has not been overwritten by the newly written data to the disk, the recovered file will be correct, otherwise the recovered file will be corrupted.

Thank you I understand.

This isn’t a dumb question at all! The little red stop sign with a minus usually indicates that the file or folder is “offline” or unavailable for syncing, especially in cloud services like OneDrive. It doesn’t necessarily mean the file is corrupted. If you restore it, it should work fine as long as the original file isn’t damaged.
