Boot issues and page file issues issues with Hasleo WinToUSB
#1
Hello,
I'm trying to create a portable USB using Hasleo WinToUSB from a current image. I can write the image to the USB without any issues, and I can boot from it successfully. However, I encounter a window that says Windows created a temporary paging file on the computer due to a problem, and the file may be larger than what I specified.

I've gone into the settings and left the minimum size unchanged while increasing the maximum to about 40 GB, which is less than half the size of the USB. To apply these settings, a reboot is required, but after rebooting, it can't find the boot partition. I've repeated this process three times with the same results each time. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

The registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PagefileOnOsVolume controls whether the Page file (a file used by Windows for virtual memory) is located on the same volume as the operating system. If its value is 1, please change it to 0 and then try again.
