Pro license purchase: "By filling in your personal data you agree ..."

Purchased a pro license, I saw the following text when hovering over the question mark next to the email input-field:
"By filling in your personal data you agree that 2Checkout, its affiliates and partners can use it for order related communications"

What does that mean?
1. When issues might happen regarding the purchase then: 2Checkout will contact you through the email address provided?
2. You purchased a backup tool license: 2Checkout or our affiliates/partners can send you offers regarding other software?

This is probably a 2Checkout related issue, but is the info provided safe from spam related things?

Can I assume you had never issues around this with other users?

As one of the world's largest PC software trading platforms, 2Checkout is unlikely to send spam emails to purchasers. The primary purpose of collecting email addresses is to send order notifications to buyers. We will contact 2Checkout to obtain more accurate information.

Would you please produce credible evidence to support those defamatory allegations?

Over many years, I purchased many software products via 2Checkout.  I have never been spammed.  2Checkout is a reputable company.  I visit a dozen Forums daily.  I have never seen any post, credible or otherwise, that claimed any of the above had occurred to a 2Checkout customer.

In my view, and I am not a lawyer, your comments are libelous, and bring discredit to the Hasleo Software Company and its Forum, as well as exposing Hasleo to possible legal action for hosting your post.
