Each time I select the Integrity Check as soon as I exit the program, it disappears. I suppose it's possible, but it is hard for me to believe I am the only person affected.

Thank you, @admin. I raised that question previously about saving the defaults I want for all future backups. That is the answer that I did not get at the time.
Have a great day. Regards, Phil

Dear @Phil,
You're very welcome! I appreciate you taking the time to follow up. I sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience caused when you initially didn't receive the answer you needed. Have a great day as well. Best regards,

@admin,
The "Save" (2) option did not appear in my beta version (5.6.1.1. Build: Jan 4, 2026) when I ran my triweekly HBSP comparison testing, and adjusted the the Backup Options before so doing. What am I missing? Thank you, and have a great day. Regards, Phil

@Phil
The button is designed to be titled "Proceed" when creating a new task and "Save" when editing a task. Have a nice day! Best regards,
@admin,
At the outset, I apologize for being stupid. When I click Proceed, the backup starts immediately. I see NO option to Save that new task. Screenshot attached. I do NOT "Edit" existing tasks. I replace them with new tasks with every image I create, so I can easily identify the date of the backup image. What you said does work, IF I edit an existing task, but I want I want a separate means of having my defaults continue for all future backups (new tasks), as I can do with your competing products that I use. That would be a major improvement in HBSP. Please, again, accept my apologies. I have only been using HBSP since the end of October when it became available, so I am still learning how it functions. Have a great day. Regards, Phil

When creating a task, after you click 'Proceed', the program will automatically save the settings, so there is no need to add an additional 'Save' button.
