Change compression level ?

  I really don't understand why i can not edit "compression" level on backup settings. (for v5)
  Eg from medium to high.

The compression level needs to be maintained within a task as all images in that image chain must use the same compression.

Feel free to start another task and change the compression level to your desired setting.

Warning: if you don't have a really high-end CPU, the HIGH setting will eat your processor up in spades.

What's the problem having different compression on the new images after i change it ?

Well it's backing up at mid-night non office hours so it will not be a problem.

Ok, i understand about encryption but why for compression ?
Decompressor doesn't care about it's compressed level.

Different compression levels were used in previous versions of V5, so the compression levels could not be changed. Newly created backup jobs with V5 all use the zstd compression algorithm, so changing the compression level is possible, it's just that we haven't improved it.
