A license "reset" (Self Destruct code) in paid software is not "acceptable"...EVER. I don't give a rats @$$ about the free version. I am trying to pay you for the paid version, but you are trying control my PC via time bombs and activation/hardware restrictions, and that is UNETHICAL and just wrong.
How many times are we going to have this same discussion as if it's new? How many times have you added, removed, added, removed the "expiration timer"? At least three in the last few months since I've been around here! Why would I trust anything Hasleo says now? You clearly really, really want that self destruct timer in there, and you know full well your customers hate it, but you just can't resist sticking it right back in there. Why? What do you care if I pay for a version and happily use that same version indefinitely? Because you want to be able to force whatever you want onto MY PC in the future. There is no other reason. What's next? Forced auto updates? Auto starting services running on my PC? Malware bundles in new versions?
So with that, I will take my "excuses" and money elsewhere, as will many other less vocal people that have the sense to contemplate more than 10 minutes into the future, I'm sure. Sorry to see an otherwise good software ruined, again.
