1. If your license becomes deactivated due to a hardware change, please contact us, and we will reset it for you.
2. Generally, reinstalling or updating the program should not cause deactivation. However, if it does occur under these circumstances, please also contact us for a reset.
Your understanding is correct regarding the license type. If you purchased a non-lifetime upgrade license (for the current version), it does not entitle you to major version upgrades (e.g., from 5.x to 6.x). However, the license itself is perpetual, meaning you have the right to use the purchased major version indefinitely.
