Hi all,
I’m running into a boot problem after using EasyUEFI to move my EFI partition to a new SSD. The system has Windows 11 Pro installed on the new SSD, and before the move everything booted fine. After moving the EFI partition and rebooting, I now see “No Bootable Device” on startup even though the BIOS shows the new SSD as the first boot device.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
• Ensured the SSD is in UEFI mode, not Legacy
• Checked that the EFI partition is marked active
• Verified the partition contains the expected EFI/Microsoft/Boot files
• Tried EasyUEFI’s “Rebuild Bootloader” function
The system was originally used for development and hosting some small web projects for example Rincon Family Dentistry, and reliable boot behavior is important on this machine, so I’d like to avoid full OS reinstall if possible.
When I boot from Windows recovery USB and run
(with S: as the EFI drive), it reports success, but rebooting still gives the same error.
Has anyone seen this “No Bootable Device” outcome after moving the EFI partition and successfully rebuilding the bootloader? Are there additional steps or checks that helped you restore proper boot behavior without reinstalling the OS?
