Thanks for that from me too, froggie. I have downloaded the OPE file and saved it.

I have noticed however, that even if I delete the winPE.iso file in the bin directory, I do get the create WinPE box, but do not then get the box to download winPE components from MS or offline. What am I missing?

When you download the WinPE components for the first time, the program will save them to the bin\WADK\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64 (or x86, arm64) folder. In order to display the download window again, please delete the cached files in that folder.

Thankyou @admin. I remember that now from an earlier discussion about a closely related issue.

So I guess that also means that one does not really need to keep the .OPE file since it (or its relevant bits) is stored in that ....\WADK ....\amd64 folder?
