We agree that prompting after every update would be overly cautious. Therefore, we will adopt a middle ground approach: the program will only show a proactive prompt when underlying infrastructure changes occur that affect the compatibility or functionality of the Emergency Disk, making a rebuild necessary. For routine updates, we will simply recommend in the release notes that users rebuild their Emergency Disk.
This way, users receive clear guidance without being overwhelmed.
