Backup has frozen and not completed.
#11
After some time spent today trying to sort this. Yes, definitely something amiss.

Re the post above, no definitely enough space on target disk drive of 4TB. Trying to back up a max of 3Tb (Max volumes of C & D disks in PC but nowhere near full).

Yes, I ran CHKDSK/F on the target drive and no problems noted.

I decided I would give Hasleo another try but would delete it from PC, restart and start again. I cancelled the last run I had tried, mentioned above and showing 79% still after several hours. It took around an hour for it to show "stopped". I then attempted to delete the App using normal Windows method. PC responded that it couldn't do it as Hasleo was running. Went to Task Manager which showed Hasleo still running so used task manager to "end task" which it showed as done. Went back to delete the App and it still said hasleo running. Back to task manager and found it showing "Hasleo Backup Suite Worker Application". I tried to tell it to "end task" several times but it would not do it. There appearde to be no way to delete Hasleo!

I then rebooted my PC and it had gone from Task Manager. Having noted from other posts on this forum I was aware that Hasleo often left settings behind when deleted so I used Revo to remove Hasleo and all traces including the Registry.

At that point I decided that I had experienced enough problems and, for the moment I am using Easus ToDo Back up so that I can have an up to date back up of my files. It is using the same Seagate Target Drive and no problems have been experienced so far and everything appears to be going well - so far.

I will take a bit of time to decide whether to reload Hasleo and try again with it. Thanks for the responses received so far, I didn't intend to waste anyone's time but I need to consider whether to bother with Hasleo again.
