Multiple Backup Sets

Oh YES, THANK YOU that was very clear and reassuring! Nice going. So then that begs the question, if I manually delete a previous backup set using explorer, I would assume that that action will not effect a newer set of a full back up with its associated differentials. Is this correct? I would assume that if I need to restore, your program will let me choose which backup set and chain of differentials to restore. Is this correct?

Now I know that assuming things is always dangerous, but I am so pleased you are clarifying things for me.
