Rescue disk not working

Yes... that's my typical usage

This is such a "one off" issue that (for me) affects only one computer and even that computer
can be properly booted with a rescues disk from another computer so it's probably not
an issue that needs to be resolved... unless other users report a similar problem.

Are you using the same USB drive in all cases? And I recommend you try connecting to a different USB port to see if the problem still persists. Thanks.
