ReFS and Hasleo
#1
Seems Hasleo is backuping up nothing on a ReFS partition.
It does the backup but on restore it doesn't show the drive.

So if it isn't support you should not let us to select ReFS partitions or note it somewhere.

Thank you

Are you saying the drive doesn't show in the 'File Mode' page of the restore window? This is normal, as the current version of Hasleo Backup Suite  does not support the ReFS file system. When restoring in "File Mode", Hasleo Backup Suite needs to analyze the file system itself and display the file tree, so file trees will not be shown for unsupported file systems. This does not mean that no data has been backed up, because Hasleo Backup Suite uses sector-by-sector mode rather than intelligent sector backup mode to back up unsupported file systems. If your current Windows operating system supports ReFS, you can mount the image and access the files within it.

Regarding ReFS, I would like to mention that there are too many versions of ReFS. Currently, there are three major versions: V1, V2, and V3, and each major version contains multiple minor versions, such as V3.1 to V3.14. Due to the lack of documentation, it is very difficult to support ReFS. We are currently working on this (mainly focusing on supporting intelligent sector backup for ReFS V3) and have made some progress. In fact, even if we complete support for intelligent sector backup for ReFS, "File Mode' will not display the ReFS file tree unless we can implement full ReFS read functionality, which will require more time and manpower.

This is also the main reason why there has been no new version of Hasleo Backup Suite released recently. We have spent a lot of time on this and hope that we won't mess it up in the end.
