Add Boot menu, updating, differential restore image (new user)

New user, regarding Hasleo Backup Suite Free (V5.4.2.2):

1) If I understood correctly you can add an startup boot-menu-item to "Windows PE (Hasleo Backup Suite)", how do you go to the menu?
(does it boot automatically into the menu and after X amount of seconds it boots into the default menu item? Or do I need to press an key at startup?)

2) Does the Windows PE environment (through the bootmenu) also offer to do an differential restore of an system image?
To clarify: I want to make an system image of the windows drive and when I restore I want to know if there is an option to an differential restore because of the speed

3) Can I update the currently installed Hasleo Backup Suite by installing a new version over the currently installed version?
(Or do I need to uninstall the current one first?)

4) When I update the installed Hasleo Backup Suite Free does it also update the  "Windows PE (Hasleo Backup Suite)" -> bootmenu
Or do I need to "Remove Boot Menu" and re-add the bootmenu through the updated version?

1. Upon reBOOT it will present you the menu for <n? seconds (DEFAULT) them move on to the selected choice (LiveOS).

2.If you BOOT into the HBS menu item, the offered WinPE provides the basic HBS application presentation.  You may select any type of RESTORE option you wish (choice of any image you have <FULL, DIFF or INC>).

3. During the update, the process will ask you to uninstall current version if installed.

4. It does not automatically update the BOOT menu.

In case you haven't thought of it, a boot menu on your disk is only useful if your disk still has sufficient capability to get WinPE running. For this reason make sure you have also created the USB flash drive version of the rescue environment.

The boot menu is sufficient to perform the restore operation, however in some cases the boot menu recovery environment may be corrupted (e.g., virus damage, abnormal deletion), in which case you will have to restore via the emergency disk.
