Temporarily deactivate your anti-virus software or add Hasleo Backup Suite (BackupMainUI.exe, BackupService.exe, BackupWorker.exe and BackupSystemTray.exe) to the list of allowed applications (may be called Trusted Applications/Whitelisted applications) of your anti-virus software and try again.
2. Manually download and install the latest version, here are the download links:
X86/X64
ARM64

Like  CDC9762 mentioned Smart Application Controll is part of windows 11 (it's not a third party AV which can be easily enabled or disabled).

1) Afaik you can't disable and enable SAC (Smart Application Controll which is included in Windows 11) on the fly. It's either on or off forever.
I think unsigned files are not loved by SAC when you can't back them up with a big amount of users using the program.
2) Downloading and installing the full version worked without a problem even with SAC on. I would have thought it would also give problems like the internal hasleo updater but so far it's ok.

At  CDC9762:
Thank's for the info. I consider SAC a usefull tool to warn/remind me if I use software that's unsigned (and/or has a smaller userbase). For the signed well known files it was so far always quiet. I'd rather not disable it and lose a free security tool when afaik you can't enable it afterward without regtweaks or worse.

Thank you both for your helpfull replys Smile
