I don't see too much advantage in using SAC but there is a little. Not much if you are a careful browser and downloader.
Problem with the On/Off appears to be that you cannot turn it back on after turning off unless you do a reset or clean install. MS' idea is that this avoids turning it on after bad stuff has already been loaded.
