Tested with V5.4.2.3
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a network share on a remote machine
2. Use that backup share as backup destination
3. Disable the share on the remote machine
4. Try changing the backup destination to another location
Result:
"The network path is not available" error.
There was also another glitch I can't reproduce anymore where it actually took the new path and saved it in the backup task. But on every action (backup, check image, open location, etc.) it still failed with an error while trying to take the old destination.
Expected:
It should be possible to change the location at any time without a check if the original destination is still available.
My use case:
The backup target server changed the IP and I wanted to switch the destination to the new UNC path. Due to this error and not being able to bypass it, I had to recreate the whole backup configuration, which was quite frustrating.
Minor usability improvement:
It would be helpful to be able to paste a path into the destination textbox, without having to use the browse button.
Thanks for looking into this.
Pretty amazing software.
