If and when you do appoint one or more Moderators, as the Forum Administrator, you will then have to closely monitor them, at least initially, to ensure that they are meeting the high standards expected by the Hasleo Team. I did see one Moderator at Bleeping Computer go "rogue" and he had to be demoted, as a result of which he has never been back.
I see already one post here today, when I logged in, already reported, of a new member violating Forum Rules. The sooner those are finalized, the better. The member obviously did not realize that he was only permitted to post about Hasleo products. Moreover, he seemed to me to be one of those individuals who plague Forums with never-ending questions, which violates Rule 8.
I can get the Forum Welcome Post and the Forum Rules saved as .txt files, which the Forum does accept. I will do the Forum Rules tonight, but I will await your decision on how you wish to identify future Moderators in the Welcome Post before converting it.
Be back in awhile. Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil
You are absolutely right. If we cannot effectively supervise the moderators, it could potentially bring significant negative impact to Hasleo. We are putting this idea on hold for now, as we currently need to dedicate more time to product improvement.

I agree with you, but I am reluctant to criticize the Hasleo Software Company of employing a vulnerable, old Forum software program to host their website. I don't think they had the money for more modern Forum software.
In the meantime, close control of spam posting can, at least, lessen the contamination of this site with spam, a reason I thought it was critical to have Forum Rules. @admin has honestly admitted that he is not an expert on this Board software, or any other, I presume.
Hasleo Software is still getting established as a major player in the backup software market. That this Forum is now attracting spammers, is, in a perverse way, a recognition that Hasleo Software is succeeding in its mission. These are "early days." Input from members like you and @Froggie are indispensable. I too, am just trying to help.
Let's all work together. Their backup software, and the effort they have put into it, deserve our commendation and support!
Have a great day.

Phil
Thank you very much for everyone's help. Indeed, MyBB has significant issues, especially the lack of an anti-spam mechanism. However, migrating to a new system would not be easy, primarily due to the challenge of moving the large volume of existing threads. This would only be feasible if the new system supports data migration from MyBB. For now, our focus should remain on the product. We can reconsider a forum upgrade when we have sufficient time and manpower.

I initiated a post called "Hasleo Forum Rules" in this Forum. You can remove my name. It is all correctly formatted. I will do the same for the Welcome Post, once I know whether you want to 8 Stars, and the Moderators, 7 Stars; or, whether you want to eliminate the "Contributor" Rank, as was my alternate suggestion. @Froggie will jump from "Contributor" to "Senior Contributor" if you approve of that alternate suggestion.
I may have been presumptuous, but I thought that you had better things to do than reformat a .txt version, so I did it for you. If I have overstepped, give me a swift kick!
Have a great day.

Phil
Deal Phil,
Thank you so much for taking the initiative to create the "Hasleo Forum Rules" post and for formatting it so meticulously! This has been a tremendous help to us, and we sincerely appreciate your contribution.
Please rest assured that you have not overstepped at all. This is precisely the kind of community spirit that helps a forum thrive. We are deeply grateful for your proactive work, as it allows us to focus more on other tasks.
Regarding the ranking system, we believe the current system is sufficient for our needs, and we can re-evaluate it later if necessary.
Thank you again for your tremendous support. Wishing you all the best!
Best regards,

@admin,
Thank you for your kind words. As for the Ranking system, you will need to create some identification for future Moderators, but it does not have to be Stars. It could just be the addition of the word "Moderator" after their current rank.
Now that you have clarified that question, give me some time, and I will prepare the Welcome Post and post it so that you can do, as you have done with Forum Rules, and remove my name, pin it, and lock it.
I'll be back.
Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil

@admin,
I have posted the "Welcome Post." It has been my pleasure to assist you with some Forum "housekeeping." It makes the Hasleo Software website look more professional, explains the purpose of the Hasleo Software Company, and sets out the Forum Rules.
On second thought, I don't think you should archive this topic, but leave it open to discussion and questions about the Forum Rules. I suspect that there won't be many, but Forum members will have an existing topic to share their concerns, if any, and suggestions. It also documents that the development of the Forum Rules was open, so all can see that it was a collaborative process with Forum members participating, as opposed to having been imposed by the Forum Administrator.
Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil

@admin,
Thank you for your reply. It was my pleasure to contribute to building up this Forum.
I hope to become more of an expert on the Hasleo Backup Suite Professional (HBSP) in the months ahead. As a "newbie" to HBSP, I am still finding my way around. I hope to contribute more to this Forum in the future, as I learn more about what this incredible software program can do.
Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil

I concur. The performance and reliability of the Hasleo products must come first. There is no point in having a fancy Forum, if the Hasleo products do not meet user expectations, and evolve to become " best-in-class."
Spam, for far, is not a major or a critical issue on this Forum, from what I have seen. It may become so, as predicted, when Hasleo products gain market share, but for now, things are in hand.
Have a great day.

Phil
