The system cannot find the file specified. (0x0095007F00000002)
#9
Figured out the real cause.
Because Hasleo Backup had been leaving temp files in the backup directory, last year I implemented a cleanup that would delete: H*TEMP, *.DBO files and the real issue here: volume*.* files.

So dumb I know. I simply forgot about it, and when I tested other solutions, they all worked, so never checked my jobs.

Other Backup Software does not create temporary files in the backup drive (which I prefer), so that's why the other solutions worked even with the cleanup process.

It would help if the error in the GUI had more details:
WHICH *specific* (name) file was the one the system could not find?

Also the error in the log regarding could not delete VSS, perhaps indicate that it is not critical, or make it obvious that it was not the cause for the backup failure.

Thanks for the support again. Confirming that it was not a VSS issue gave me enough to check further on my side.
