I don't know why there would be a security risk involved.  If MicroSloth changes something in their OS that makes that version useless, you'll be on your own... especially if you need to RESTORE previous images.

If you really can't afford the one time $45 for LIFETIME support and upgrades, you should probably move to Veeam at this time... although I personally believe Veeam is nowhere near the capability of HBS.

Thanks, and yes, it seems that in a world where everyone is already rich and thriving, I missed the boat. 

If I was on a Win 11 Pro license I would have continued free use and upgrades, no?
