Do filters work for System and Partition backups

I see that the paid version has the ability to add custom filters to exclude folders and files from a backup.  I know this would work for File backups, but does it also work for System and Partition backups?

Dear Rich,

The custom filter feature of Hasleo Backup Suite can be used for system and partition backups. However, please note that this feature is currently only supported on NTFS partitions.
