You might also be interested in this explanation of how Trustpilot calculates scores:
New businesses start out at 3.5, and have to attract positive reviews to try to move their score up. Because of this weighted scoring system, businesses will never be able to achieve a perfect score of 5.0.
Personally, I don't like that system, not that it matters to Trustpilot.
