v5.5.2.0 expires at 2028-04-27 00:00:00, last version without timebomb is v5.4.2.5.

Yes, the version without time restrictions is V5.4.2.5. We have previously mentioned that we will re-enable time restrictions after the paid version is released.

Well, that is a bummer. I would have bought the paid version since I use LTSC Enterprise, but I do not pay for software with a time bomb in it, or a subscription (same thing).

What if I am without internet at the time it expires? What if the newer version is problematic for me for some reason? What if the company that took my money folds and disappears? This has happened to me many times already.

$55-200 is not cheap software either. If it was $10-20 I may take the risk, but not for $50+.
Sorry, but NOPE!

We've just built a trial version. Here's the download link:

You might be right. I know everyone thinks we'll eventually abandon the free version, and that's the root of the problem. We'll consider your suggestion.

Okay, this does raise concerns about the sustainability of the free version. We will completely remove this restriction in the next version and all future versions.

Smart decision... I'll stay on version 5.4.2.5 because in addition to not having a time bomb, and as far as I understand, it's the last free version that supports Windows 10 LTSC IoT Enterprise 2021 and works well for my needs for now.

Well, it seems we were being overly optimistic.

Since the release of Hasleo Disk Clone in 2020, we've spent five years developing Hasleo Backup Suite. Some of Hasleo Backup Suite's features originated from Hasleo Disk Clone, so in reality, it took us more than just five years.  Now you're telling us it's only worth $10 to $20. Bro, you're using Windows Enterprise Edition—that's commercial use. If you can find backup software offering lifetime free upgrades for just $10 to $20, we'd be happy to give you the license you need for free.

Agreed! $10-$20 for a perpetual license? Yeah, no! That's just fukt. And it's a slap in the face for these developers. I agree that $50 per year, what Macrium charges, is excessive. By comparison HBS seems very reasonable. But you are just being too greedy @Dude Guyman.

So does that also mean there will be no Time Bomb in the Pro version too?

Yes, the time limit will be removed.

I think I'll wait until all this is settled before I buy a license. The last thing I, or anyone, want if some there to be anything that restricts the ability to use HBS when I need it. I'll wait for the timebomb to be removed, then I'll buy.
