2. Regarding the license reset issue, we have also clearly responded that improvements will be made, but we currently lack sufficient manpower. Do you have any method to determine the number of computers a license is bound to without tying it to hardware?
3. We really appreciate that you still consider it to be an otherwise good software.
1. For the fourth time in several months. I don't trust you anymore. Right now, the timer is there, so...no sale. Two versions from now, removed and then back again?
2. Don't tie it to my hardware. My hardware changes. Simple. Generate a code/key or whatever and leave it alone. What do you care if I have paid you for the software but use it to make backups on two PCs I own in the same household anyway? They are both part of the same "system" anyway. If you do, why not charge me EVERY time I use it even on the one PC? What about the three hard drives and two operating systems I may backup in my single PC? Want to charge me for each one of them separately next? Where do we draw the line?
3. I am very disappointed Hasleo is more concerned about controlling my personal computer than improving the software. You "lack the manpower" to improve things but have the manpower to restrict my use of a paid product and code in a self destruct timer? Yeah, that's the problem.
This is very simple. If I pay you for a product, it is mine to use anyway I see fit (as long as I am not sharing/selling it etc.). ESPECIALLY since we are talking about backup/imaging software. That is mission critical and has to work, any time, every time, right now! With or without internet connection. Not if or when you decide to allow me to re-activate it or decide if my slightly upgraded PC is still the "same PC" or not or if I need to download an update first. My internet goes down for weeks at a time and I may not even be able to contact you to beg for permission to use the software after your timer blows up or I swap out my mother board or operating system.
DEAL BREAKER!
