I've already said that whether HBS will be free for Enterprise versions of Windows or not, depends solely on Hasleo. I don't expect anything from Hasleo. I'll be using version 5.4.2.5 for as long as I can.

Is there a way to upgrade to the Family edition by paying the price difference, or am I out of luck?

Sorry, but NOPE!
Since the release of Hasleo Disk Clone in 2020, we've spent five years developing Hasleo Backup Suite. Some of Hasleo Backup Suite's features originated from Hasleo Disk Clone, so in reality, it took us more than just five years. Now you're telling us it's only worth $10 to $20. Bro, you're using Windows Enterprise Edition—that's commercial use. If you can find backup software offering lifetime free upgrades for just $10 to $20, we'd be happy to give you the license you need for free.

Yes, you are. I use LTSC because it is less invasive/bloated, and not in any "commercial" way. Why or what O/S or how much I pay for it, I use is none of your f'ing business. You make and sell good software, or you don't. What/how/when/why I use it is my f'ing business alone. That said, on a free version, I am not complaining about it and would have bought a paid version...except for the "self destruct" code in it.
