Greetings!  I just started playing with your cloning feature.  First attempt... problem.  I kinda understand why it won't allow OS disk cloning to an external USB disk, but I don't understand the error msg that states destination disk is too small to clone a single Partition when the source partition is smaller than the destination disk, but originates from a larger disk.  Why wouldn't that be allowed... we're only dealing with a single partition clone?

Please provide an option to "check for updates" so users can disable the update check on systems managed by them.

I have the HBS Backup Schedule set to Daily-RunAtIntervals with Interval Time (1 hour) and "Run missed schedule at the next system startup" disabled.

HBS occasionally takes a missed backup when I start the system.

It seems there is some incompatibility between HBS and Windscribe VPN. HBS crashes the moment I connect to Windscribe. HBS creates empty dump files, and Windows Event Viewer reports no HBS errors. The situation improves if I add HBS executables to Windscribe's split tunneling feature.

I added the below HBS executables to Windscribe's split tunneling.
AppLoader
BackupService
BackupMainUI
BackupWorker
BackupSystemTray
Now HBS doesn't crash but doesn't take backups, or backups fail when I connect to Windscribe or it is connected.

Sometimes HBS crashes and shows an error "inter-process communication" if I only add BackupService and BackupSystemTray to Windscribe.

I'm going to make Win11 Pro WTG on an Axe Memory flash drive of 500 GB.
I see an option in WintoUSB like "Virtual Hard Disk Size". Do I need to modify the number which showed up in there or am I supposed to leave this as it is?
Another question. Maybe stupid one, maybe not. 500 GB is a big-capacity flash drive. So I wonder how WintoUSB is going to treat this external device. Therefore should I choose VHDX or maybe legacy installation mode?

Edit: Okay now. Disregard the second question guys. I can put an ISO file thru WintoUSB two times after all. In case when something wrong would have been with WTG then I'll choose another installation mode making WTG again. There's no big deal.

I want to change the destination folder, usually on a monthly basis, for my daily backups. But when I go go Home>File Backup->Actions->edit  The destination folder is disabled.
How can I do that?

I'd like to schedule a full backup to be done once a week (say on Monday) and incremental backups all other days. I didn't have any problem setting up the full backup, but I'm having a problem with the incrementals. I defined a new backup job with Incremental being the default backup method. HOWEVER, when that job ran it generated a FULL backup! I suspect the problem is that this second backup job did not see the original, full backup. Do I need to change the Task name for the incremental backup job to be the same as that used for the full backup? (Perhaps there is some detailed documentation on how to set up a backup schedule similar to the one that I've outlined above?)

One other point: Is there an option to suspend the system after a backup has completed? That option is available in Macrium Reflect, and I find it very useful...

I recently installed Hasleo Backup Suite on an older Toshiba notebook system and had no trouble making an initial system backup onto a USB-connected external HDD. I then made an Emergency USB recovery disk and it boot fine AS LONG AS THE USB BACKUP DISK IS NOT CONNECTED. If the backup disk IS connected, the emergency USB disk will not boot - it flashes for a few seconds and then the notebook screen just shows a flashing cursor at the top left of the screen. (There is no error message.) Clearly, this isn't a good situation since I can't do a a system restore if the backup disk isn't available! Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Wayne

Just noticed that after some extensive (powered) testing in this area, Event triggering fails (or stops working in its entirety) when the testing laptop is ON BATTERY and not on AC ADAPTER.

If not by design, maybe this is a bug (it seems to be undocumented in the appropriate manual section).

If by design... can an option CheckBox be made available in the Event Trigger window to control this activity (would like to do "low power" <battery> operations)?

Any help, greatly appreciated...
