Phil, you can just reinstall the version you are running (rather than wait for a new one) and get all the build options once again... FYI!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but another way to get the build options to show up again is delete the winpe.iso (from memory, forget the exact name, should be in root/bin Hasleo install folder? That is a copy of the "recovery" iso) and edit the "Hasleo.ini" (again forget name for sure, in main folder, it was the only *.ini file in mine) and change the line about "choosing build options" from "0" to "1"? Sorry I can't remember the exact names of anything I put in quotes, I don't have it installed to check, but it should make sense when you see it.

@Dude Guyman,

Thank you for your advice.  I am content to wait until the next release.  I will not be using HBSP for another three weeks, unless I must because there is a catastrophe. and I must use HBSP for a restore, which I hope does not happen.  In the intervening weeks, I will be using alternating two other imaging products for my weekly full Disk/Partition images, as explained in my comparison topic in this Forum between MR8, ETBH, and HBSP.

Have a great day, and thank you for your input.

Regards,
Phil

Dear Phil,

Are you referring to the message below? It's actually an informational notice (telling the user that their current WinPE complies with the UEFI 2023 certificate requirement), not an error message. Displaying it in red can easily be mistaken for an error, perhaps consider using yellow or green instead.

In earlier versions, you had to manually delete image.iso to recreate the WinPE. However, starting from V5.8, you no longer need to manually delete it, simply click "Re-create WinPE Image ISO" to easily recreate the WinPE.

Thumbs Up
Better yet! Yeah, I was going from memory of an older version. Sorry about that.

@admin,

Yes, that is the message.  Since it reports compliance with 2023 Certificates, I think it would be better in any other colour than red.

Just my opinion.  Have a great day.

Phil

Hi @garioch7,

Thank you very much for your thoughtful suggestion.

You are absolutely right, using red could be misleading. We've decided to follow your advice and switch to a more neutral yet noticeable colour, such as amber/golden yellow, in both dark and light modes, to keep the message clear but not alarming.

Thank you again for helping us improve the user experience.

Have a great day!

How do you get back the option to use the OPE file after you tick the "Download WinPE components" box? I seem to have lost it and also where this option is discussed in the Forum.

You need to manually delete the file C:\Program Files\Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\WADK\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\winpe.wim first, and then you can re‑select to use the .OPE file to create WinPE.
