NAS Restore
#1
I have a question..  If a system only has 1 storage device available and the Backup was done on NAS with Hasleo Backup Suite which I am planning to do in the future, how does one actually do the restore process?   Since I don't think one can boot into Windows normally and run Hasleo Backup Suite and restore the data to the same exact device that Windows booted on from the NAS.  Would one have to use the Emergency Disk first in this scenario?

You need to create a bootable WinPE media to perform restore operations from it when Windows fails to start normally. For information on how to create a bootable WinPE medium, please refer to:

However, WinPE is a stripped-down version of the Windows operating system, so its ability to access the network is limited, especially through the wireless network card. Therefore, if you cannot access the NAS normally under WinPE, you will have to copy the image from the NAS to an external drive to perform the restore operation.
