Disk imaging is completely different from file/folder backup & it is better to use specialised software for each. There are various free file/folder sync/copy software which do the job perfectly fine without unnecessary complications of various services & processes involved with a disk imaging software. Here is one such software that not only backup/copy files & folders in native format but its versions also stored in "native format".

See above, it is not me who is asking for such a feature. I am just giving example of another software which already have such functionality & would rather see HBS focus on & improve their core area of disk imaging/restore.
Well, the name of the program is Hasleo Backup "Suite". One advertised feature is "File backup and restore" (see attached screen shot), so the program already HAS the file backup and restore feature. I have tested this feature over the past 6 weeks and it works very well, with the only downside for ME being that it backs up all the files and folders into a compressed image file. My suggestion is only to have a choice within the task to have Hasleo do it as it does now, or be able to choose not to copy everything into a compressed image file. Obviously, your sync software suits your needs, which is great.
