Thanks to @garioch7 and @al3x for the replies. Hasleo Backup uses VSS to take a snapshot of the drive at the moment the backup is initiated. When you restore from that backup, all data on the drive should be exactly as it was at that point in time. As al3x pointed out, the most likely explanation is browser synchronization.
