We recommend that you create a separate backup for the system and data partition. Regarding creating a backup for the data partition, if only a small portion of files need to be excluded from that partition, we still recommend using disk/partition backup, as it is faster than file backup and disk/partition backup provides the option to exclude files. Overall, we should only use file backup when backing up a small portion of files within a partition.
