Hello admin,
hello forum,
I have repeated the entire procedure:
using the current ISO of Windows 11
for the normal installation,
then using WinToUSB on an external SSD –
unfortunately with exactly the same result:
Windows itself shuts down,
but the PC (hardware)
is not shut down or restarted.
In the hope of still getting an answer
and a good tip,
here are the most important details about the PC:
Processor - AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS
RAM - 96 GB
Swap file - min. 1 GB, max. 40 GB
No ‘hiberfile.sys’ or ‘sleep mode’
The external SSD is connected to
a USB4 port via USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 GB/s).
So, now I'm hoping for a good answer...
