Hasleo 3.6.0.0 and problems with ReFs ?
#1
Hello,

we just installed Hasleo Backup Suite 3.6.0.0 (according to the installation file, though the logfile says 3.6.0.2 installed) on Windows Server 2016 with 14393.6085 build.

We tried to create a System Backup of the NTFS boot drive to a ReFs data partition on another drive. As soon, as we try to start the backup, we get the error ...

Unsupported file system. (0x090C009000000000)

Is ReFs file system really not supported as a destination for the Hasleo backup file?

Strange!

Regards,
DiWi

Regarding the error, please click "[Image: memu_normal.png]" > "Save log file" to open the save log file dialog, save the log file and then send it to us via email at [email protected].

Since NTFS data cannot be converted to ReFS, it might be that only ReFS data can be backed up to an ReFS target.

To me that does not make sense! We do not convert anything, we try to make a backup of an NTFS-partition into a standard file (Hasleo Backup *.dbi file). It should not make any difference, if that target partition where the backup file will be created is NTFS or ReFs.

I'm glad to hear that, and we'll be releasing a new version as soon as possible.
