According to this situation:

i would suggest adding a Disk selection mode (not partition) to avoid the error or manual edit re-selection of the changed partitions.
So it would scan in every backup task the partitions and included them all in the next backup automatically.
Also report in the e-mail notification that the partitions are changed.

I'm sorry I don't remember the issue you reported a few months ago, this is a recent issue reported by users, but they could be the same issue.
