Hello,
I created a rescue ISO on laptop 1 with the current Hasleo version (5.2.2.3) and tried to boot WinPE on laptop 2. However, this didn't work. After a short loading time, the laptop restarts.
On laptop 1, on which I created the ISO, the rescue system loads without problems.
I found an old rescue ISO that I created with a Hasleo version around 4.9.2. This ISO boots on both laptops.
Then I created a rescue ISO on laptop 2 with Hasleo 5.2.2.3, but this ISO also didn't boot on laptop 2.
The cause may be that the CPU of laptop 1, on which the new ISO boots, supports SSE 4.2, but the CPU of laptop 2 doesn't.
Have you changed anything related to the creation of rescue ISOs since Hasleo 4.9.2?

The code of the program is certainly being changed continuously, but we have not modified the code related to WinPE compatibility. Since WinPE is generated based on the current operating system's WinRE by default, WinRE may have changed with the Windows upgrade.
Please remove the winpe.iso file in the bin folder under the installation directory on laptop 2, then re-create WinPE, and choose to download WinPE components from Microsoft when creating WinPE to see if the problem persists?
I followed your suggestions step by step. Additionally, I had to delete the Windows Preinstallation Environment folder under the WADK folder to get Hasleo to download the files from Microsoft.com again.
The rescue ISO I created on Laptop 2 successfully booted on this laptop, which has Hasleo 4.9.5 installed.
I then created a rescue ISO using the same steps on Laptop 1, which has Hasleo 5.2.2.3 installed. This didn't boot on Laptop 2.
I then installed Hasleo 5.2.2.3 on Laptop 2 and created a rescue ISO with the newly downloaded files from Microsoft.com. This one also didn't boot on Laptop 2.
Conclusion:
All created ISOs booted without problems on Laptop 1.
Only the ISO created with version 4.9.5 booted on Laptop 2.
Laptop 1 has Windows 11 Pro 24H2 installed (Build 26100.4061).
Laptop 2 has Windows 11 Pro 23H2 installed (Build 22631.5335).

Please try the following steps and send us the requested files.
1. Make sure you have V5.2.2.3 installed, download the attached file and rename it to Winpeshl.ini.
2. Replace the Winpeshl.ini file in the WINPE\Windows\System32 folder under the installation directory of Hasleo Backup Suite (Usually C:\Program Files\Hasleo\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\WINPE\Windows\System32) with the Winpeshl.ini from the previous step.
3. Remove the winpe.iso file in the bin folder under the installation directory of Hasleo Backup Suite, then re-create WinPE.
4. Start WinPE on Laptop 2 and the cmd.exe will open.
5. In cmd.exe, go to "X:\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin" and type AppLoader.exe to run Hasleo Backup Suite.
6. Check to see if a file with the .dmp extension exists in the "X:\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin" folder and copy it to a local drive if it exists.
7. Go to "X:\Program Files\Hasleo Backup Suite\bin\logs" and copy all files with the extension .log to a local drive.
9. Reboot to Windows and send us the .dmp and .log files.
I followed your instructions exactly, but the laptop aborts the boot process from the rescue ISO and restarts before the command line window opens.
But then...
On laptop 2, I reinstalled Hasleo 5.2.2.3 and then created a rescue ISO without checking the "Download WinPE components" box. This ISO is almost twice as large (875 MB) as the ISOs created with the Microsoft files. This ISO boots into the rescue environment without any problems.
Thank you for your efforts, I'm glad we were able to resolve the issue.
Hasleo Backup Suite is an excellent program, and I will now finally switch from AOMEI Backupper to Hasleo.

Are you sure you replaced the file correctly?

It's weird, it means you haven't changed anything, why is it working? Regarding the ISO size, if “Download WinPE components” is unchecked, Hasleo will generate WinPE directly based on the WinRE of the current OS, so the size of the ISO is related to the size of WinRE.

Best regards and thanks for your work, Markus
Anyway, it's nice to hear that you've finally solved the problem.

Yes, the created ISO booted into the command line on laptop 1. Possibly a driver issue.
