Hi Keith!  When I look ion the BOOT folder, under the "winpe_10_64" folder, I see the WinRE.wim... so it may be based on that (don't know for sure).

Yes, WinPE is based on WinRE.wim by default. If WinRE.wim cannot be found on the computer, it will prompt to download WinPE components from the Microsoft.
