I have a couple of win10 laptops and win7 desktops.
About 18 months ago I installed Hasleo Disk management suite on a Win7 DESKTOP and a Win7 Laptop
all those devices now tell me, whether connected to the Internet or not, that the suite is old and needs upgrading and I am refused service. How do you manage to BYPASS the lack of Internet connection on a device with no WIFI and NO RJ45 cable connected to the PC for over a year??? It's used only for time consuming activities like backing up my Photo collection of the last 25 years and occasional HDD diagnosis!
I upgraded my win 10 installation with the intention of cloning the hdd to an ssd, the ssd I put in a sata to USB caddy ... but I was refused that service too!
Another failure .. I do not want to have a bootable Win10 USB drive (i ALREADY HAVE ONE made 18months ago on a Stupid HP Stream with a 32GB eMMC soldered onboard drive) .. I want to have a bootable internal sata III drive.
I cannot clone it because that requires a second slot for an internal SATA drive, that is not available.
I thought to clone it using spare SATA connections on my isolated WIN7 DESKTOP but this idea was thwarted when, instead of opening up the Suite ... it posted the same message saying the installation needs to be upgraded ... in spite of not having been connected to the internet for the last year.
I found hasleo because I followed a thread on a forum that recounted how Hasleo and the forum had worked together to fix and remove bugs, add meaningful, useful code to help make the app what it was to become ...
i found I could clone a drive from hdd to ssd by using my desktop to create an image and then restore that image to a new drive for my laptop ... but it seems that I can no longer do that because The app only supports Win8 and above and i HAD INSTALLED IT ON 7 ... THE ONLY DEVICE I own with more than 2 SATA connectors ... that is perfectly capable of cloning the drives and also keeping a drive image in backup.
