I am just guessing, but I think you answered your own question.
I suspect that Hasleo insert(s) files or modifies files in it own trial version PE disks that are not present in your homemade PE disk; hence, it does not recognize the PE disk as still being valid.
Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will answer the question.

There seems to be a deficiency in the Forum software. If I try to quote a post by copying it and inserting it, I just some dashes. If I paste what I have copied from the post into Notepad, I can then successfully copy and paste it from Notepad into the Forum post I am composing. This is the second time that has happened since I joined.
