@admin,

As suggested, I have just left a review on Trustpilot. Some of the previous Trustpilot reviews were very unfair, and little effort, if any, was made to provide supporting factual information to justify those extreme negative reports.

I commend you for joining Trustpilot to correct the record. i find it regrettable that Trustpilot does not require more accountability from their reviewers to justify their very negative ratings and comments.

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil

Ditto here!

But that's a common problem with platforms like Trustpilot.
People tend to express their feelings more often if they're unhappy. Everything cool? Noone leaves a review.

Left a review there a while back - before you formally 'joined' Trustpilot, as I recall.

This is kind of odd. Trustpilot has become like Yelp, where people leave reviews that are not based on anything factual and can often be based on them just having a bad day. It's not really fair. I will get family and friends that have used HBS to balance the obviously biased bad reviews.

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for taking the time to leave honest reviews about us on Trustpilot, and for pointing out the issues in your discussion, especially the lack of factual support in some reviews, the lack of content moderation on the platform, and the observation that "unhappy people are more likely to speak up" (as pointed out by al3x). We see these points and strongly agree with them.

We have always been reluctant to actively participate in product review websites or third party forums. The reason is simple: we want to invest our limited resources into product development, and we truly believe that a good product will eventually earn genuine recognition from its users.

That said, some of the negative reviews on Trustpilot clearly deviate from the facts and are even exaggerated. This has forced us to take them seriously and respond. It is worth noting that Trustpilot is free for consumers, but it does not actively verify the authenticity of user reviews. Its approach is to ask businesses to reply to each review on their own, or to purchase a paid subscription for more management tools. In other words, the platform shifts the burden of verification and cost onto businesses, while lacking basic checks on the sources of reviews.

Of course, we also understand one thing: no matter what you do, you cannot please everyone. Rather than chasing every positive review, we care more about continuously improving our products and serving the users who truly use them. Your willingness to speak up is a show of support for us, and we deeply appreciate it.

Thank you again for your understanding and action. If you have any specific questions or suggestions about our products in the future, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Best regards,

While it is true that Trustpilot is free for consumers, there actually is a user authenticity option, which is quite rigorous.  I know, because I went through the process that took almost 30 minutes.  Trustpilot did invite me to complete that process.  I suspect, as has been suggested, that most of the negative reviews originated from people who did not want to be verified.

If you read the English reviews (I did not check reviews in other languages), you will see that ONLY my review has a photo, and it has a green check mark in my photo, top right.  If you click on that photo, you will see that I am a "Verified user".  None of the other reviews is from a "Verified user", not even that by @Froggie.  More attention is paid to "Verified user" reviews than others, I would suspect.

I am submitting this post just for your information.  Anyone who has posted previously supporting Hasleo Software can retroactively go through the Trustpilot verification process, and their previous reviews would also be updated with the status of "Verified user" once they have completed the process.

Yes, for an old guy, I do get around!   Big Grin

And yes, I DO think that Trustpilot reviewers should be required to justify their ratings!

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil
