Emergency Disk Rebuild Notices With New Version Releases
#1
I did a perfunctory search of "Emergency Disk" in this Forum, but I did not find a Topic dealing with notifying users when the Hasleo Team recommends that users/customers rebuild their Emergency Disks.  Some competing imaging products do that in their Version Release Notes.

I would suggest that the Hasleo Team consider including that information in the Version Release Notes, not only when it IS required, but also when it is NOT.  Perhaps this has been previously addressed, and I just failed to see it, being relatively new here ...  Confused

Have a great day.

Regards,
Phil

@garioch7,

Thank you for your suggestion, Phil. In future release notes, we will clearly state whether rebuilding the Emergency Disk is necessary. In fact, after installing a new version, we always recommend that users rebuild their Emergency Disk to ensure compatibility and reliability.

Have a nice day!

@admin,

Thank you for your reply.  I do know that we are supposed to create new Emergency Disks with each version upgrade, but some of us are lethargic.  Being informed when the Hasleo Team definitely recommends a rebuild would be helpful, and I am very happy that future release notes will reflect that.

I am ashamed to state that I have not rebuilt my HBSP Emergency Disk since October 2025!  Blush

Have a great day, and thank you, as always, for your prompt response.

Regards,
Phil
