You are absolutely right. Having worked in technical for so many years, I should know better than to let a few difficult cases affect my mood. But sometimes, when you sincerely take the time to explain the technical principles and offer solutions, only to have your efforts completely ignored or dismissed, it's hard not to feel a little disheartened.
However, both you and @AdvancedSetup have reminded me of a very important truth: there will always be users we simply cannot reach, and that's okay. What truly matters is the vast majority of users who are willing to listen and appreciate our work, they are the reason we keep striving.
